Baptism in the I. Church of Agios Ioannis Prodromos Antigone

On Sunday, July 21, 2019, the dear daughter of Theodoros and Marina Galitsis was baptized in the Church of St. John the Baptist Antigoni.

"I am baptized and I await you with joy!" 

mentioned the very artistic baptismal invitation. 

A real crowd of relatives and friends flooded the Kallimarmaros I. Church responding to the call of the newly enlightened and her family.  
The sponsor was the young Phoebus Iliadis, who named the little newly baptized Ioanna – Vanessa.  

The sacrament was performed by Rev. Metropolitan of Geron Prykiponnisos, Mr. Dimitrios, with Panosiol as supporters. Chief Protosygello of the Metropolis Fr. Dionysion Gijon, who also represented the A.Th.P. the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, the Panosiol. Chief Father Stefanon Noussin, Priestly Superior of Antigone and the Deacon Father Nikodimos Saidam.  

The baptism was attended by clergy, Chief Officials, doctors, teachers, community actors and many relatives and friends of the loving couple of the parents and guardian of the newly baptized. 

In the surrounding precincts of the First Temple, a rich canteen followed with the cutting of the baptism cake. 

We wish the godfather, dear Phoebus, to be "always worthy" of the duties of the guardian, and to the dear parents, Theodoros and Marina, to raise little Ioanna-Vanessa, as they wish, and to make her a worthy member of our society. 
To the dear grandparents Yannis and Anastasia (Soula) Galitsi and Aristarchos and Eleni Tsapou, may they enjoy the progress of their little granddaughter and be happy for her.
